The City of Victoria recognizes that climate change is having a profound environmental, social and economic impact and is one of the most important challenges facing this province, and indeed the world.

The City of Victoria's Strategic Plan Vision is to be the most liveable city in Canada. To support this Vision, the Mission Statement speaks to the importance of enhancing the vitality of the region through exceptional leadership and stewardship of our environmental assets.
